I have experienced at least three times now in last several weeks situations where I get the beach ball of death for Firefox and the only way to recover is to force kill Firefox. In two of the cases I either switched to an open Facebook tab or scrolled in my timeline on Facebook. But I have not way how to reproduce.

The third Instruments trace is too big even as a tarball to get attached here.
Have you ever seen anything like this Jeff?

Yep, I've seen hangs in the gl libraries before. Nils, if you attach a debugger to Firefox and then hit continue does it get fixed?
