this bug is track the performance of delete message.

if we can speed up the sequence:

delete selected message
select next message
display message

it would make 5.0 more usable for me.  it seems like a common thing and
something worth making really fast, if possible.

This is one of the things I was going to look into. Are you talking about POP,
IMAP or both?  One thing to know about pop and there is another bug on this is
that the first time you delete a message, it reparses your trash folder.

I'm seeing this on imap and on linux.

I think something may be slightly different on my setup than on others.

for example, when I do delete, I end up calling
nsProfile::GetCurrentProfileDir() four times, where mscott does not.

I'll investigate more.

Bulk add of "perf" to new keyword field.  This will replace the [PERF] we were
using in the Status Summary field.

From a perceived performance POV, we're fast enough for B1. Marking fixed.

Agree. Deleting message is as fast as Nova 4.7
