I just downloaded mozilla-1.0rc2 (redhat 7.x binary rpms from mozilla.org). When I tried installing new theme (pinball) I got a crash in the end of the install process. The theme install progress bar went to end and then it crashed (segmentation fault). While pinball theme on the page is ment for 1.0rc1 and I'm using rc2, I thought this could be a genuine bug in the theme engine.
After restarting mozilla, and re-selecting the theme from themes menu (it had been installed, but not selected as current theme) the pinball theme does work 100% AFAICT.
There are several known crashers related to theme installation. For this bug to be useful we need the talkback ID of the crash. Can you please provide that?
Sorry for being lazy, but are there talkback builds for linux anywhere? (See also the comments on bug #143835 - I'm not sure I can reproduce this...)
All installer builds have talkback...
