User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20180128191252 Steps to reproduce: I opened Thunderbird Actual results: (1) how can it happen that emails marked as "spam" do reach my inbox and are not automatically moved to the respective spam-folder? (2) The functionality "mark/asign to spam-fliter" seem to be obsolate. Whatever I mark will continue no to be handled as spam. Expected results: (1) I would expect that emails marked as spam will automatically vanish from my inbox and be asigned to my spam-folder (2) I would expect that emails marked and assigned to the spam filter will never apear again in my inbox [by the way I would alos expect that it will be possible to mark certain domain-names (e.g. facebook) as spam and certain languages or countries. My main spamers come from the netherlands (80%) and the rest comes from facebook.

Is the spam folder in an imap account? What happens if you change settings to have spam go to a local folder?
