Steps to reproduce:
Linux Mint KDE
58.0.2+linuxmint1+sylvia amd64
Firefox was initially set as default browser. Chromium was made default through chrome://settings/defaultBrowser
"Always check if Firefox is your default browser" unchecked
Actual results:
about:preferences still reports "Firefox is currently your default browser"
Expected results:
"Firefox is not currently set as your default browser"
