From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0rc2)
Gecko/20020510
BuildID: 2002051006

Anything that uses the Tree UI (is that what it's called?), such as the
Bookmarks Manager, the Bookmarks Sidebar, the History Sidebar, Mail &
Newsgroups' left navigation panel, Preferences' left navigation panel, and so
forth, do not respond to any mouseclicks or keyboard input. Scrolling works,
however.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uninstall Mozilla 1.0 RC1, keeping all user profiles intact.
2. Install Mozilla 1.0 RC2.
3. Open Mozilla.
4. Try out the Bookmarks sidebar or anything that uses a tree, like:

+ Personal Toolbar Folder
|-- Slashdot
|-- News.com
+ A bookmark folder
|-- Bookmark 1
|-- Bookmark 2

Actual Results: Mozilla does not respond to user input (mouse/keyboard).

Expected Results: Mozilla should respond to user input (mouse/keyboard).
can you add this between step1 and step2 :
deleta all files in c:\programs\mozilla.org (backup your profile folder first,
don't overwrite npnul*.dll later)

WinXP / 2002053012 / JRE 1.4.0-rc

this bug was encountered using an old (3+ weeks) build of Mozilla, if this bug
persists using a current build, please get this bug reopened.
