Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020418
BuildID: 2002041811

While viewing relativly large messages (say, more than 10k), the scrolling
becomes very slow, depending on message size. For ex. viewing a 30k message
takes about 2-3 sec for every key press (mouse on scrollbar or keyboard arrows).
This did not happen with 0.9.9 release, Win32 RC1 doesn't have this also. The
scrolling in Navigator is okay.
I have a Cyrix 6x86MX-PR233, maybe on faster machines this is not noticable so
much, but I think this is wrong way to fix the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Mozilla Mail on similar machine.
2. Get a text message about 20k in size.
3. Try to scroll...

Actual Results: You should notice jerky movement with a pause on every advance

Expected Results: The movement should be smooth regardless of message size

I know no easy workaround.
does the problem still occour on 1.1beta?
Are you still seeing this problem in current builds?
Reporter says this is working for them now.
