Platform: Windows NT, Linux (behavior differs slightly)

To reproduce:

- Launch apprunner
- Select the contents of the Location: control
- Press space and then type a host name (eg yahoo.com)

Result: The browser attempts to load '^yahoo.com' (where ^ represents a space),
and fails.

Expected result: the leading space(s) are stripped and the URL loads correctly.

traling spaces ...
