Hi Jonathan, It seems that mozregression pointed out Bug 1190623. Last good revision: e9c3a7b8062a9bdd6d4b440cb39f146df47c04b0 First bad revision: 1ba25bdb87550c98e011c0af9d0933429b758961 Pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=e9c3a7b8062a9bdd6d4b440cb39f146df47c04b0&tochange=1ba25bdb87550c98e011c0af9d0933429b758961 Can you please have a look into this? Thanks!
This is intentional breakage, it will only impact nightly and early beta releases. Users of Nightly who want to use sites like this should flip "security.mixed_content.block_object_subrequest" pref in about:config.
Alternatively (or additionally), ask the developers of the app to change it from using HTTP to using HTTPS. :)
Also I forgot: Clicking the (i) icon in the URL bar You should see: "Firefox has blocked parts of this page that are not secure" Click the right arrow Click "Disable protection for now" Please be careful when using this mode though as it will allow insecure scripts too.
From comment 2, sounds like we don't intend to fix this and it won't be happening on release, at least not for a while.
