From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051006 (aka RC2) Mozilla shows "broken" placeholder instead of button images on the page given. Tried to save these images and view them using IrfanView image viewer, and they work just fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www.watznew.com/linktous.html 2. See all button images (above each text box) broken Actual Results: The images are not shown. Expected Results: The images should be shown. I'm not sure wether it is or is not a duplicate of bug 131660, because the image attached to that bug works fine for me.

I see this a lot too (win 98, all recent builds). I think it's probably related to the bug that sometimes causes mozilla to report "Document contains no data". Both will normally work after requesting again (clicking the same link or select "view image" from the context menu).
Dont think so. I right-click on the image in subject and select "View Image". It still shows broken. I press Ctrl-R and get: The image “http://www.watznew.com/pics/buttons/watznew152x40eng.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Sorry guys, I reopen this bug. It has nothing to do with the cache. I completely cleaned up the cache directory, and the image is still not displayed. More, I saved it to my hard drive, and when opened in Mozilla off my HD, it still shows up as broken.

This is actually a dup of Bug 130876, but I'm not sure what the policy is on duping to a resolved bug. We need that fix in RC3 :)
Hmm, well, yes it looks much more like Bug 130876. But some of the images attached to that one WFM, and some do not, and that makes me feel suspicious. So, if nobody minds, let's leave this one open, and I'll close it as soon as I see it resolved, deal?
OK, did some additional investigation. Proven to be a duplicate. Sorry. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 130876 ***
