User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
Build ID: 20180206200532

Steps to reproduce:

Open https://tobireif.com/demos/grid/ .
Set the window/viewport width to ~755px.
Click on "Layout 2".
Scroll down to the footer "tobireif.com".

Actual results:

At each "Zero Width Space" there's too much space.

Expected results:

There should be even spacing between all visible characters, as in Chrome, please see screenshot_chrome.png.
Perhaps (in Firefox incl. Nightly) the letter-spacing gets applied to the "Zero Width Space" characters?
