Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
Build ID: 20180206200532
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to my website hosted on Github pages: https://junge-pfarre.github.io/
2. Long-press on an image
3. Choose (a) "Share to Whatsapp" or (b) "Share with K9-Mail"
4. (a) Receive a toast saying "Sharing Failed! Please try again" or (b) a new K9-Mail message compose window opens, which contains a link to the image, but does not have the image attached.
Actual results:
I cannot share or attach an image thats displayed on my website https://junge-pfarre.github.io/ to Whatsapp or K9-Mail and possibly other programs.
I downloaded Chrome and there it works. So I'm pretty confident that there is something wrong with Firefox for Android.
Expected results:
I expect the same result as with Chrome: Whatsapp should not trigger a toast, but let me share the image. K9-Mail should attach the image to a new message.
PS.: If I build and access the Jekyll-page locally, I can share the images. There must be some problem in relation to hosting the page on Github Pages and Firefox for Android getting confused by something on there.

I don't have whatsapp or K9-Mail setup. Sharing to Gmail, messages, and Signal works for me. I get an image and the url of the image sent to the other app. Tested using a Pixel 2 XL and Firefox for Android 60.0a1.

I'm using a Fairphone 1 with Android Kitkat 4.4.2. Is it possible that my Android build is somehow flawed? In this case I don't really understand what's happening since I can properly share images on other sites.
It's just this site that is problematic (and Chrome doesn't have an issue with it).

Thanks for the report!
Tested on the latest Nightly build and Release 61.0 with two devices with Android 4.4.2 (Lenovo A536 and Prestigio Grace X5) and couldn't reproduce the issue. Could you try again with other share options and write the results here? thanks

This issue still happens to me. I can reproduce it on the 61.0 Firefox for Android release.
