Details

* TITLE/SUMMARY
Banners for Mozilla Help have corrupted GIF images

* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0) Launch Apprunner
1) From the Help menu, select "What's new in 5.0", or any other items which
invoke 5.0-specific help.

* RESULT
 - What happened

The top-of-page GIF banners display as approximations within Seamonkey. I checked
newbanner.gif, and GIFmation 2.1.2 reports that the file is prematurely
terminated. Thus, I believe all of the Help banner files are corrupted.

 - What was expected

Non-corrupted GIF images prior to beta, por favor. ;)

* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED

- [Mac] Beige Power Mac G3 (266 MHz PowerPC 750), 96 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM
used), 1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.6

- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP3.

- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM. Red Hat Linux 6.0 (GNOME).

I've worked on this and had some success. However, the fix is not ideal. I'll
work on it some more. Sigh.

This should be fixed now. The banners have been replaced with a Mozilla-based
pict.
Unable to verify due to removal of menu item from Help menu.

Vera, could you possibly provide the direct URL to what users would encounter by
selecting "What's new in 5.0" if the menu item existed? Otherwise, I'll mark this
bug dependent upon 14234. Thanks!

Per Vera, this bug is no longer relevant/fixed by other changes. Verifying as
