Details
The addon manager allows users to enable/disable addons. This can break policies decided by the system administrator. Possible scenarios: * When an extension implements something security mechanism and the administrator wants to force users to use Firefox with the extension, it must not be disabled by users. * When an extension is deployed with default configs decided by the administrator, configs of the addon must not be changeable by users. (Enterprise extensions should be designed for the company, but company admins not familiar to develop extensions with very limited money resource want to use major public addons as is.)
