Steps to reproduce:

I typed in the command that I got from the following site: https://www.howtogeek.com/228886/how-to-create-iso-files-from-discs-on-windows-mac-and-linux/

The command I used was: hdiutil convert /home/username/original.cdr -format UDTO -o /home/username/destination.iso           And that is all that went into terminal. Nothing else.
I believe the Bugzilla version is 3.26.0-1.fc27.x86_64         not 4.4 version

I am dual booting this Fedora 27 via a separate hard drive that shares the same biostar motherboard A75MH with windows 7 pro 64bit OP. For some reason Fedora 27 rejects the drivers for the motherboard (such as bios drivers). I tried installing them from the furnished CD that came with the Biostar motherboard A75MH but to no avail. Fedora 27 is asking for a program that opens .bss extensions but I don't know where to acquire the .bss extension file opener. Furthermore, when I hibernate windows 7 pro 64bit it hibernates and several minutes later turns on again with a 100 percent black screen. It stays  on for about 2 min. then it shuts itself off completely (goes totally into shut down mode). Windows 7 pro 64 bit has all the updates but still does what it does. Yup. I have computer issues. Please help me. 





Actual results:

everything froze 100 percent. no blue screen. just froze 100 percent. I had to turn off the machine by way of the power button on my computer case.
In addition from now on in the beginning as the computer starts I choose the second Fedora 27 option because the first one will not let me boot into fedora 27. The first option just takes me into another page with running codes and some of it says fail. According to my op Fedora everything is up to date. Its my first time using linux of any type. What is the best book or what not to learn how to operate Fedora 27? Can I use an older book about Fedora 23, 24, 25 or 26 instead. It's very hard to find any book for Fedora 27. And /home/Edward/Downloads/hplip-3.17.11.run freezes as well. All I did was write that hplip command and hit enter within terminal. 


Expected results:

The command typed into terminal should have downloaded a program that converts DVD programs into .iso formats

/home/Edward/Downloads/hplip-3.17.11.run         is for my HP OfficeJet Pro 6869. Terminal download froze. But not completely. I had to cancel it. I would append more pictures but there is only one attachment place for it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. I have more pictures if you need them.
