Yesterday I was able to get our Bookmarking UI (Star + dropdown panel) to stop functioning entirely in Firefox 59 Beta after I did the following: STR: - Bookmark any page you haven't bookmarked yet using the star page action item in the urlbar. - In the panel that appears, click the 'v' button to slide open the Bookmark Folders tree view. - Select the 'Mobile Bookmarks' folder. (Optional, I'm guessing) - Click the '+' button to create a new folder and press enter to create it without caring about its name. - Click to select the newly created folder, click it again to have the textbox appear that allows you to rename the folder in-place. - IMPORTANT: delete the name entirely, hit Enter to rename the folder without a name. Make sure to keep the folder selected. - Click 'Done' to save it all. AR: Bookmark star page action button does not respond to input anymore after this. Not on any other page, for the duration of the session. ER: I don't think I need to spell that out ;-)

Mike said he initially found this on 59 Beta, on the latest Firefox 60 nightly, this is fixed. Not quite sure what fixed it, so marking as WFM.
