144186 - Clicking on category in preferences doesn't expand category

When I click on a category in the preferences window, (i.e. click on the + sign)
the category doesn't expand.

This started happening to me in 1.0fc1 and still happens in 1.0fc2.

This didn't happen in 0.97, 0.98 or 0.99.

This doesn't happen on MacOS X or Linux X11.

I know of no work around -- I cannot set preferences.

This may (or may not be) related to a problem I am having with the URL bar
described in bug 144184.

Can you please remove the Mozilla bin direcotory (not your user Profile) from
your system and reinstall mozilla ?

Removed C:/Program Files/mozilla.org as recommended by Matthias Versen (Matti)
and this problem has gone away.  Perhaps this bug report should still be
considered as a bug in the installer?  I.e. something didn't get cleaned when
installing on top of a previous release?
