User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.140 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I pressed the "Restart to update nightly" button, found at the tool bar.

Actual results:

At startup, a XML Parsing error is show. Firefox won't start.

The picture is in spanish, the translation is more or less:

Error reading XML: entity is not defined
Location: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul
Line number 1318, column 22:
    <description>&addonPostInstallMessage.label;</description>
 ---------------------^

Expected results:

Firefox Nightly should have started normally.
Keywords: regression
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64
Version: 55 Branch → unspecified
The version is nightly (I suppose the last, but cannot confirm what exact version due to the bug)
Marking as a duplicate of bug 1442145. I don't know if you can still get an automatic update with the broken UI. The best solution for you is probably to download and install a new nightly build from https://nightly.mozilla.org
