Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0
Build ID: 20180206200532
Steps to reproduce:
1. The password for the site at http://fritz.box, a name that the router will resolve to the local (192.168.x/24, x being picked by the router at first setup) IPv4 address _only_, was previously saved.
2. I updated from Firefox 58.0.1 to 58.0.2 on a Windows 7 machine.
3. Visited http://fritz.box
4. Password filling was not offered
Actual results:
According to the Saved Logins dialog it is no longer saved and Firefox does not prompt me to save it again.
So Firefox wiped the credentials _and_ does no longer offer to save them.
Expected results:
Firefox should let me save passwords for local not routable intranet sites without transport encryption. I understand the risk and the warning is still shown.

Do you have any non-MSFT anti-virus? You are probably hitting bug 1427248 as we don't intentionally try to stop you from saving. Check about:config for security.enterprise_roots.enabled
Flags: needinfo?(bugzilla.mozilla.org)
Hi, I am using MSSE, so the Microsoft Security Essentials software (Windows Defender on newer Windows versions, but I'm on Windows 7). And said value is set to false (result from copying it from about:config):
security.enterprise_roots.enabled;false
Anyway, you might want to close this one. Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. But the issue dissolved with some subsequent update. Both the password gets saved and the dialog gets shown. No idea what went wrong.
Apologies for the noise and not getting back to you earlier.
Oliver
