The range of Table size from Insert Table is 1 - 10000, the range of Table Size 
from right clicking on an existing table is listed as 1 - 1000.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Composer page
2. Create a table with greater than 1000 rows or colimns
3. Right click on the table and choose Table Cell Properties
4. Change a setting for any of the Borders and Spacing fields. (or do nothing)
5. Click Apply

Expected result:  The Border or Spacing would change for the table, or nothing.
Actual result:  ERROR:  the number you entered is outside of the allowed range.
Please enter a number between 1 and 1000.

The limit can be whatever we want! I guess 10000 is ok.

I am still concerned about the rowspan/colspan limit that gecko may (or may not)
have.  Have you tested making a span across more than 1000 rows or columns to
ensure we won't crash?

The patch on bug 155193 fixes all upper limit problems in dialogs.
