The site http://blic.gates96.com/ is coded in Windows-1250 character set. Pick
any of the links in the central section (it is a newspaper and these links are
links to the stories). Go to that other page. Now click on the Back button on
the browser interface - the front page is now black. This can be repeated every
time on my machine. I suspect it is related to the character coding.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://blic.gates96.com/
2.Click on any of the links in the central (white) section.
3.from taht other page, click the Back button on the browser - the original page
is now black and unreadable.
Actual Results: The original page becomes unusable.
Expected Results: Display the home page as it was before going to other link.
No javaScript involved. Other language coding.

I saw a black area appears when click on back button on WinXP-JA / 05-12 PR1
build, but after I scroll down/up, then the black area will disappear.
I'm afraid it's not an i18n problem - the characters are displayed fine and
charset is marked correctly.

wfm with MacOSX build 20020510.
wfm with WinXP-SC build 20020519.
ylong: can you still reproduce it? If so, is it OS-lang specific?

Works for me on 05-12 PR1 (same as in comment #2) on all platforms. I guess the
web page has something changed since this bug was reported.
Reporter: Can you still see the problem?

I could not see any problem. Resolve as WFM. Reopen if you see problem again, be
sure to post test page locally.
