Details

Mozilla Composet (build 2002051006) has a capability of showing tags as icons. This feature may be accessed through View -> Show All Tags. No closing tags are shown in this view. In addition, tag "TR" is not shown.
Severity: normal → enhancement
Undoing the change of severity to enhancement. That severity should only be used on bugs that request a new feature to Mozilla, that does not already exist. This bug describes a feature that does not work properly (e.g. You can't tell where certain tags end, even though the documentation implies that it is possible.)
Severity: enhancement → minor
bk039: Sorry about that- I'm the one who changed this to Enhancement. I do indeed see that Composer does not show any closing or TR tags. I looked high and low for documentation that would describe how Composer is supposed to handle this issue but could not find anything- could you help me find the documentation that implies this functionality so I can help confirm this? TIA!
Documentation: Open Mozilla Help Select "Creating Web Pages" -> "Formatting Your Web Pages" -> "Choosing the Right Editing Mode". The documentation for Show All Tags States "Choose this mode to show table borders and all HTML tag icons.", which seems to imply that closing icons should be displayed. (This used to happen in Netscape 4.x, but not in the current version of Mozilla. Seems like that some of the icons are now missing.)
