User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I have 20 profiles configured on my Thunderbird. Updating to version 52.6 causes thunderbird to definitelly freeze at startup (before profile manager) with a memory usage of 124k.
-I have updated to earlybird 59 with no success.
-I have removed profiles 18 and 19 to have Thunderbird starting. Re-adding a profile (even an empty profile) cause the crash.
-Profiles are not corrupted (I've tried to exchange position with profiles under 17)
Actual results:
freeze for ever (until reboot). Impossible to kill the process with Windows task manager
Expected results:
Start of Profile manager
I'm not using firefox on a daily basis on this computer and I have only one profile.
- Profile count over 18 in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\profiles.ini doesn't seems to interfair with Firefox.
- Profile count over 18 in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini doesn't crashed profile manager.

Bugs filed in the Toolkit product that only affect Thunderbird might not get much attention, so I'm moving this back to the Thunderbird product.

I cannot reproduce this on win7 with 20 profiles using 60.0b5 or nightly build.
Please try with Windows started in safe mode
