From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510
BuildID: 2002051009
I have Zope 2.5.1 running locally. With Mozilla browser up and mail client
window open, I attempt to log in as admin to Zope at url
http://localhost:8080/manage which brings up the username/password
request window. If at this point the mail client is closed, Mozilla will wedge.
It won't paint, non of the open client windows will respond to anything other
than a kill command. I have not tried a similar experiment with just closing a
second browser window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Mozilla
2.Open Mail client
3.Go to any URL requiring a password login
4.Leave password window open
5.Close Mail client window
Actual Results: it wedges, hangs, freezes, won't paint, won't close
Expected Results: Mail window would close and Mozilla continues to operate like
normal.
Note: I do not have javascript or java turned on when this happens, and the
password manager is not being used either for this to reproduce. My window
manager is Blackbox, I did not test this with either Gnome or KDE.
