User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build ID: 20180302190033 Steps to reproduce: Since Firefox Developer Edition updated to version 60, I have been having problems with hover effect being slow to respond. When I mouse over things that normal do some kind of effect, the effect takes a second or two to active. Example, if I search for a bug in Bugzilla and then hover my mouse over the summary link of a bug, the underline doesn't show up for a second or two. The problem doesn't always happen but does happen for me quite often. It feels like Firefox actually stops responding for a second. This problem did not exist in Firefox Developer Edition 59. Actual results: Hover effects are laggy and take a second or two to activate. Expected results: Hover effects should activate as soon as I hover over the element.
Another place that this is very noticable is on Instagram stories. When clicking the next button to it sometimes doesn't respond at all and sometimes the button doesn't even show up for a few seconds because it is activated by hovering over that location.
Hi Ryan Felton, I cannot reproduce this issue on Firefox Developer Edition 60.0b2 neither Nightly 60.0a1 (2018-03-12) on Windows 10.0, x64. Can you please try to reproduce this issue in safe mode following the steps from: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_3-restart-firefox-in-safe-mode If it is also reproducing in safe mode, please try to install Nightly and try again: https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/channel/desktop/#nightly

I restarted my PC and then ran it again in safe mode and the problem no longer existed. I went through and re-enabled add-ons one by one and the issue comes back when I enable the add-on 'Honey'. The problem seems to be with this add-on and not with Firefox. Not sure why the issue was still happening the first time I tried safe mode.

Based on Comment 3 the issue is generated by the add-on "Honey".

I can't reproduce this problem, but you can report it to the developer. There's a support email and website on the listing page: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/honey/ Closing because it doesn't appear to be a bug in Firefox or a critical issue that needs tracking.
