Steps to reproduce:

1. Play any youtube video
2. Open a new tab
3. Try to maximize or restore down the browser window while the new tab still in focus
4. Go back to the youtube tab


Actual results:

Youtube video frame and controls wont automatically resize upon maximizing or restoring down the window


Expected results:

Youtube video frame and controls should automatically be resized even when maximizing or restoring down the browser window

I verified this issue on Windows 10 64bit with  FF 61.0a1 (2018-03-13) and I cannot reproduce it.
Please test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:

I the issue is still reproducible, please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.

I tested the issue in safe mode on firefox 59.0.1. fortunately the issue is already gone.
