Discovered this while looking at some logs: Modifying update-settings.ini ../common/unpack.sh: line 104: ${update_settings_file}.new: ambiguous redirect diff: extra operand './Firefox.app/update-settings.ini' diff: Try 'diff --help' for more information. mv: target './Firefox.app/Contents/Resources/update-settings.ini' is not a directory This could be related to bug 1438906, or possibly a different caused by the cross platform update verify work.
Actually, it looks like diffs are running upon closer inspection - so that's good. But the errors are still worrying.
