As part of the data preferences changes, it seems the TMO dashboard (distribution / evolution) no longer contains release channel data as described here:

(I am sad about it, but let's leave that part for a different bug!)

I couldn't find any docs about this release channel caveat with TMO.  For example, I looked at:

https://docs.telemetry.mozilla.org/concepts/analysis_intro.html

but there's no mention there.  I think it would reduce confusion to add this explicitly in docs.
