From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051005 The URL listed is only one of a number of sites that exhibit this problem. When interacting with a Shockwave application that requires mouse clicking or dragging, after a while the computer will start trying to drag a lasso of the working area. What I mean is that you play the Shockwave game, the pieces move around just fine, then suddenly when you click (or drag) and go to move the mouse, it'll act like you've lassoed the entire window and are trying to drag it. Opening a new browser window and closing it, or closing another existing window, makes the problem disappear. This problem appears randomly, and it may take many minutes of using the Shockwave app before it appears, but it WILL appear. The daily jigsaw puzzle at Shockwave's website also exhibits this problem, as well as the "Ball Chuckin' Challenge" at Comedy Central's "Let's Bowl" site. This problem did NOT occur with 0.99, but did occur with 1.0RC1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Play the game 2.After a while, a lasso of the open window will appear when you move the mouse 3. Actual Results: Every time the mouse was clicked and you moved it (either dragging or not), a lasso of the open window would move with the mouse. Expected Results: Not created a lasso! Shockwave plugin is version 5.0r41, and was copied from previous Mozilla/Netscape install folders.
confirming bug on os x. time playing doesnt seem to play a factor, simply start playing the jigsaw game, then click on the desktop, then click back on the game. after you have done this, within a few piece moves, the piece will start to move and create a large square lasso, and the piece will then stop moving. I know this is difficult to explain, please let me know if you dont understand, and I will epxlain it again. anthonyd
