Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: RC2 20020510 Javscript window close will indeed work "as expected" in RC2 if you have pages in separate tabs. No warning that the Mozilla window will close due to a javascript request... this can be an issue when you have other pages on "tabs" within that window that you want to remain open. My suggestion is that window close() should be kept as-is when in the non-tab mode or 1 tab mode, but when the # of tabs is > 1 it should only close the tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See Description 2. 3.
