This is generally a Bug #356762 cloned for Linux/Gtk+.

When there are active lenghty downloads in the download manager and gnome-shell power policies are set to go to Standby (suspend mode) after some idle time, FF doesn't prevent gnome-shell to go into suspend mode. If you wake up your system again, all active downloads are stalled somewhere in the middle. You have to restart when the  download server doesn't support resume mode.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 28 / gnome-shell, there's a default suspend policy
2. Start lengthy download over a slow connection
3. No more user interaction or other active programms to let gnome-shell go into Standby

Actual Results:  
After wakeup, the download is stalled. Most of the time the resume function of the download manager doesn't work.

Can reproduce the issue with Firefox 121.0 (Wayland) on Fedora 39 with KDE Plasma 5.27.10 (Wayland).
