Details

I clicked on a link on a web page to some "foo.cpp" that returned a document of
type "text/x-c++src". I was greeted with the download dialog, giving me the
option of either opening in in a helper app, or saving it to disk.

Neither of those options is what I wanted: I don't want to save it, or compile
it, I just want to read it. So I want to be able to tell Mozilla "treat this
content-type as synonymous with text/plain, and just display it in the browser
window."

Another way of looking at this is that I want to associate *Mozilla* as the
application for this content-type.

It would have been more convenient for me had the webmaster on that site set
text/plain as the content-type of ".cpp" files, but on the other hand, they
*did* specify a more accurate content-type, so it's hard to fault them for it
except in that they didn't take Mozilla's current behavior into account.

I'm hoping to get to this sometime in July...
