User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20180315233128
Steps to reproduce:
Firefox (Quantum 64 bits) is my default browser. I am running 2 instances of Thunderbird (yes, Thunderbird) using the "p" and "noremote" options.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -p -no-remote
When I click on a link in a Thunderbird mail, I get a popup (attached pictured) and the link does not open in Firefox.
Before I used the "p" and "noremote" option, all was working fine.
If I setup Chrome or Opera as "default browser" the link opens correctly, so the problem comes from Firefox.
Thank you!
Actual results:
Link does not open, and I get an error popup (attached file)
Expected results:
Link should open...

I was able reproduce this issue. Putting this under toolkit:Startup and Profile System so dev can look into it. Feel free to change it to more app component.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Component: Untriaged → Startup and Profile System
Ever confirmed: true

Since this issue affects a non-default configuration, it is lower priority, and we may not be able to look into it soon.
Priority: -- → P5
Well, considering the "quality" of the reply that means "we don't care" I am glad to have moved to Opera :)
