For example, if I visited a URL in the domain name, say 測.本/index.html, and then I typed the 測 in the "search history" input in "Show all history", the history list just wouldn't list the URL I just visited.
Typing the Punycode portion(測.本 is Punycode-encoded as xn--g6w.xn--8pv), such as "g6w", will list the URL, but it isn't enough, because obviously the user doesn't want to remember Punycode domain names, typically they will type the Unicode characters in a Unicode domain name to list the URLs they have visited.
BTW, it is pretty much the same kind of the issue in bug 1450539 , which happens in the address bar. So I wonder if we can fix this kind of issues in a common way.
