Details

Yeah, I'm stuck using MS Exchange for email at my present company. I use the
web interface to Exchange, which uses a bunch of Javascript, and generally works
well in Mozilla, except you can't reply to emails. If you click the "reply" in
an MS Exchange Web email dialog, nothing happens. The command (not that it
helps, since I don't have the Javascript source) is

Javascript("reply")
please see bug 136599 comment 2

Quote:

"With 'Preferences/Advanced/Scripts and windows/Open unrequested windows'
checked, the 'bug' vanishes. Uncheck the preference, it returns, so Exchange's
webmail's code here must be shaped in such a way that a 'Reply to' window there
is appearing to Mozilla as unrequested."

Does that cover what you see as well?
Not JS Engine. Reassigning to Browser-General until we can get
further information. Greg:

1. What build ID of Mozilla are you using? Please include that
   in any bug report

2. Have you made any settings changes in Edit > Preferences,
for example to block unrequested windows?

3. Are you getting any errors in Tools > Web Development > JavaScript Console?
(be sure to clear it of any previous errors first)

cc'ing jruderman - this also sounds a lot like the recent bug 144633,
"Can't reply in msn communities after disabling unrequested windows"

Greg: thanks, this explains everything. The "const hide" error
is a harmless one that seems to occur all the time and is harmless.

The fact that the "unrequested windows" pref was unchecked, and
checking it makes the problem go ayay, shows this bug is a duplicate
of bug 102481, "Outlook Web Access - "reply" breaks after disabling pop-ups".

You may want to take a look at the extensive discussion there
about this problem -
