Hello,
I work at Bitdefender at fixing this issue on our side.
I'm new to bugzilla. Is there any way I could get access to a crash dump for this issue?

hi radu, thanks for reaching out. we can only give access to crash dumps to third-parties once an affected user explicitly agrees to that. we can try reaching out to some of them who left their mail address in a crash report and see if we get consent.

That would be really useful. Issue does not reproduce on our end and it looks like some sort of memory corruption. It might be from an interaction with a browser extension? but without the dump we can not confirm.
If it's a trust or privacy issue, the clients can submit the dumps trough Bitdefender support so that the privacy issue is passed from you to us.

I've contacted some users, let's see if somebody accepts to share the dump.

Hello.
Thanks to the dumps we were able to identify a problem on our end. The problem will be fixed on a future release, probably next month. Because of the nature of the issue, it reproduces sparsely.
@Marco, thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks Radu! Can you update us when you release the fix?

Hello.
I'm here with an update. Bitdefender has deployed a build containing the fix on 9th of May. The problem should no longer reproduce.Thank you again for helping us to find the issue.

The volume has been much lower for a while, so I'd call this fixed. Thanks Radu!
