User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build ID: 20180326161606 Steps to reproduce: Hello All, I have a self-hosted caldav server. I've synchronized it for months successfully with my windows 7 client + Thunderbird (also with my mobile phone). Today, I booted my Ubuntu 14.04 client after some months the first time. First I had to add the calendar again because I changed SSL certificates in the meantime (removed previous calender first) After that I synchronized Lightning. Environment --------------- Windows Client: + Win 7 + Thunderbird 52.7.0 + Lightning 5.4.7 (latest stable version) Ubuntu Client: + Ubuntu 14.04 + Thunderbird 52.7.0 + Lightning 5.4 (latest version in the official repository) Caldav Server: + Radicale Actual results: 1. Synchronization on Ubuntu 14.04 started and finished after a few seconds 2. I added a new appointment - nothing happend, but the appointment didn't appear in the calendar 3. After 5-10 minutes it appeared in the calendar 4. After a sync of my mobile phone, all appointments on the phone seemed to be gone 5. I checked the ICA-directory of the Caldav server -> found many files there 6. I compared the files with the backup - it turns out, that Lightning on Ubuntu replaced each and every ica-file with a completely different file-name. All files had today's timestamp. Also, the content changed slightly - but the appointments were basically the same. Expected results: Synchronization between Windows and Ubuntu via caldav server should work fast in both directions. ICA files of the caldav server must not be replaced by different files / filenames. New appointments should be added as a new ica file but without affecting existing files Thank you in advance M.

matze, do you still see this when using version 60?

I think this bug can be closed now.
In the meantime, I do not use windows any more. My ubuntu version is now 22.04 and my calendar server is baikal.
Syncing works for me in any direction and with any system I use (android, ubuntu).

Will close the bug.
