From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510 BuildID: 2002051009 When you are typing a new mail in yahoo mail, sometimes the input is really, really slow, remembering me when you type over the internet with a modem in a telnet conexion. You type a paragraph and you how it goes slowly to the textbox. And normally this slowliness increments the CPU usage to 100%. The worst part is that it only happens sometimes, not always. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a yahoo mail acoount and configure the size of the input with to the maximum in the yahoo mail options. 2. create a new mail and hopefully, it will be very slow. 3. Expected Results: Write in light speed. As it is doing now.

dupe of bug 123623 ?
I think to know how to reproduce it. Just press a lot of enters to create new lines and a scroll bar. Then, typing is slow, and the more lines there are, the slower it is. It is slower in the lower (last) lines than in the upper (first) lines. --------------------------------- Yes, it is the same bug 123623, but the page has no divs at all. It is repoducible even in this textbox.
Bug 141900, which this bug depends on, is the bug to watch since I've identified and noted several items there that are contributing to poor typing performance. I have all the fixes in that bug, in my local source tree, and don't notice any perf problems using mail.yahoo.com.
