Add update Firefox state to /firefox

We are seeing a lot of Firefox users downloading Firefox. There are prompts within Firefox for people that are using out of date versions to update, however our page only offers a download button. We want to make it easy to update without going through the hassles of install.
There's an update+refresh state on /new. Can we add something similar on /firefox?

Fun fact: we already have a notification that gets shown to out-of-date Firefox users on almost every page of the website, including on /firefox/ (screenshot below)

Clicking "Update Firefox" here initiates a new download however, which seems a bit at odds with what we really want (i.e. people to update).
Perhaps we could update this link to be consistent with the notification on /new, and link to:

Ah OK, I've seen a lot of downloads from these users, and since I didn't see the "refresh" option like /new, I thought it was missing. But now that makes sense.

Rather than have them read instructions, I want us to do it for them. Can we trigger the update via a button-click on the page? Or trigger the About Mozilla Firefox window (as generated via SUMO instructions) with a button on the page?
Basically, I'm trying to make it easier for people to update without having to go through the work of downloading and installing Firefox.

I would love it if we can do this, but alas it's not currently possible (else we'd already be doing it). We could potentially build a method using UITour, but it would need someone from product to add it as a feeature exposed to www.mozilla.org.
