Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Just "about:plugins" Actual Results: Page saying there is no plugins Expected Results: plugins list ! Related to bug fix for 143178 ?

what is this, a late april fool's joke? Everything is ok in "About:plugins" for me on 0517 branch 1.0.0 on NT. and how does 143178 come in here? is it even checked in?

No ! Try trunk build for 17th may ! Nothing is listed. And it is not a late april fools joke !

It seems to be a trunk bug. Downloaded 1.0.0 branch build for 17th may and it works... :-/ Even tabbed browsing which seems to be broken in trunk
Frederic, what was your previous build over which you installed this one?

this is working on 2k as well. frederik can u try using a new profile? also, installing right on top of an existing browser is known to show mysterious problems, can u try seperate folder install as well? thanks for ur patience !

ugh..was sleeping..did not see ur earlier comments. I just tested the 0517 *trunk* as well. wfm.
I am a bit concerned. Frederic, would you please also try to remove registry.dat (quit the application first) and restart and see if the problem is gone. The file is normally in C:\Documents and Settings\YourWinPofileName\Application Data\Mozilla

In answer to comment #4 to 8 : a) Only using zip files. b) Never overwrite previous build : delete all files but not plugins folder (well, npnul32.dll is erased too). c) I was using trunk build from 16th may 2002. d) It seems that my profile was kinda broken. So, I leave alone trunk build for some times. I think I don't have a lot of luck yesterday :-/
