User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0
Build ID: 20180323154952
Steps to reproduce:
the text/font in the body of Chrome bug pages is a lot lighter/thinner in Firefox compared to Chrome, I suspect this is incorrect. Here is a test bug https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=460919 and attached is a screenshot comparison of what I'm seeing (Firefox in red box)
Expected results:
Viewing the same page in Edge shows heavier/thicker font weight too but Edge seems to zoom in Chrome bug pages incorrectly so I'm not sure if we should look at Edge here

Those are two different fonts. For that pre element, the page specifies font-family: monospace, font-weight: 400 (i.e. normal). Firefox uses its default monospace font, Courier New, while Chrome uses what looks like Consolas. [1]
Vivaldi, a browser with the same rendering engine as Chrome, also uses Consolas, but text thickness is similar to Firefox.
