Currently there are two problems with the tooltips we have:

1) It breaks mobile if we don't specifically set to disable it
2) Most of the times it's just the placeholder or label of the field and doesn't provide any additional value

Hence I don't see a reason to keep those, if there is a problem with understanding, we should be using a better label instead of a tooltip where possible.

I've reached out to Megan to get her opinion in terms of UX as well.

Got feedback from Megan:

"tooltips are great when you need more info that is _in addition to what is required of the experience_. The example you show is definitely a redundancy and isn’t needed. The only place I truly find use for tooltips is when an (i) info icon is used to denote that there is more information available for an element."

So this bug is ready to be worked on.

I agree today this kind of feedback are not required so much and we can avoid a lot of issue on mobile.
