[Affected versions]: - Firefox 61.0a1 (20180419100148) [Affected platforms]: - Win 7 64-bit - Mac OS 10.13.2 [Steps to reproduce]: 1.Flip “extensions.webextensions.tabhide.enabled” to true. 2.Open multiple tabs. 3.Hide some tabs. 4.Right click inside the all tabs menu. 5.Select the “Customize” option. 6.Close the “Customize” page. 7.Open the all tabs menu. 8.Observe the number of the tabs listed. [Expected results]: - The tabs are not duplicated in the list. [Actual results]: - All the tabs that are not hidden, are duplicated in the all tabs menu.
I don't think this is related to adding hidden tabs to this menu. Can you test this on release or beta and see if the same behaviour occurs? I don't have access to a Windows machine here.

In the extension’s menu, that has the hidden tabs listed, I don’t have the option “Customize” as I have it in the all tabs menu. The “Customize” option is displayed if you don’t access the menu that has the list with the hidden tabs and the issue is not reproducing in Beta and Release, but in this case I don’t use the same steps, as I did in the Description. Tested on Firefox 59.0.2 (20180323154952) and Firefox 60.0b15 (20180423171039) under Win 7 64-bit and Mac OS X 10.13.3.

I tested this on my Windows PC at home on release and this is happening there too. Unfortunately my screen recorder didn't capture the popup, though. This popup is being replaced in bug 1446101 so I don't think this is worth fixing. STR 1. Open enough tabs to overflow the tab bar and get the all tabs V arrow to show up. 2. Open the all tabs menu. 3. Right Click > Customize. 4. Close Customize. 5. Open the all tabs menu.
