14556 - resizing bookmarks crashes

open the bookmarks window. resize it down to make it smallish. quit the app to
save its position. restart apprunner and relaunch the bookmarks. now make the
window bigger. at some point, it will crash and you are stuck with small
bookmarks window forever!

Peter, I'm gonna doom you with this one for now since we don't really do
anything special in our code when resizing a window.  This appears to be some
core problem.

This does not seem to be a general problem with the windows, I can only
reproduce it using the bookmarks window.

this is possibly a dupe of bug 14812 (okay vice-versa) the stack traces look
similar to these eyes and it basically the same behavior. peterl is on the
hook for that bug at the moment. Check that bug for different stepd to repro.
