Nightly introduced the canvas blocking popup a few versions ago, this allows users to restrict the ability of websites to read canvas data using a popup similar to the mic/camera/notification/... popups. As someone who declines most of these requests, I find it very useful to have the ability to just block some of this (like notifications) by default without FF even asking about this. It is possible to do this in the "Privacy & Security" -> "Permissions" menu. When clicking on "Settings" next to the permissons for cam/mic/notification/... it is possible to manage the currently blocked/allowed websites and you have the option to "Block new requests [...]". I think this would be a good place to add the Canvas permissions too, which would allow me to block them by default using the "Block new requests" checkmark.
