User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Microsoft Bing Maps Streetside is broken in Firefox version 59.0.2 for MacOS . This is Microsoft's street imagery product that is like Google Street View. It can be accessed by going to Bing Maps, and then using the pulldown menu in the upper right corner and selecting Streetside. You then need to place the blue man icon on a street in a major city. The problem does not exist in the latest versions of Firefox running on any other OS or hardware platform. The only way to solve the problem is to load Firefox version 52.7.3 ESR: Extended Support Release. This fixes the problem. Actual results: Use this link to test on MacOS: https://binged.it/2Hnfc95 I performed my tests on Apple MacOS El Capitan version 10.13.4 You will find that you cannot rotate or navigate without major stuttering and pixelation -- and the images do not fully load (leaving blue tiled geometry where the image is blank). Expected results: The images should fully load, and you should be able to rotate and navigate without stuttering and pixelation.
The link I provided in the original bug report is less than perfect, as it represents a dead-end in terms of Streetside coversage. Please use this link instead: https://binged.it/2qTqp69
blafarm: Can you attach screenshots if what it looks like? I haven't been able to reproduce yet using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 (59.0.2) running ahead on 10.13.5. It might also be helpful to go to about:support and add your graphics card information.
Hi Marcia, Thank you for your response. Recap: The problem happens with the latest version of Firefox for MacOS -- Version 59.0.2 Here are the machine specs: Computer: Apple Mac Pro (Early 2009) Processors: Intel Dual Quad Core Xeon W3520 @ 2.66GHz Video Card: nVidia GeForce GT 120 OS: MacOS El Capitan 10.13.4 RAM: 16GB RAM Here is a video of the problem: http://firefox-problem.s3.amazonaws.com/Firefox.mp4 Note: In the video, I am relentlessly 'grabbing' the image in an effort to simply rotate the view around to see the other side of the street. Microsoft Streetside is completely unresponsive, it does not download completely, and the image is fractured. None of this happens with Mozilla Firefox (52.7.3) ESR: Extended Support Release Hope that helps.
Hi Marcia, Have you had a chance to review that video? And, do you need any further information? Thanks
(In reply to blafarm from comment #4) > Hi Marcia, > > Have you had a chance to review that video? > > And, do you need any further information? > > Thanks Yes, I can see the issue when looking at your attached video. My machine has a different Video card, Intel Inc. -- Intel(R) Iris(TM) Graphics 550. So I think it could possibly be a problem with the video card in that machine. I will move this to the Core | Graphics component and let them triage the book. Thanks for reporting.

blafarm, the problem still happens on latest Firefox release?

Sotaro Ikeda, Unfortunately, that computer has permanently left my domain -- so I can no longer test new versions of Firefox running on it.
