This is probably an important detail, given recent sites being blocked. YouTube is working here.

Sergiu, can you test with a Russian VPN?

I have tested on Windows 10 and Nightly 62, using a Russian VPN connection. The video is successfully played.

For the future. To test issue like this is not correct. Because I use a Russian VPN to watch Youtube on my Android device. 

Serglu, are you from Ukraine? Did you see that? Youtube detected you as Ukranian user. I could be detected as Sweden user if use Sweden proxy.

You are right, Paul!
Didn't notice the UA in the logo there.

Attaching another screenshot, this time with the link you accessed, Russian VPN connection and Russia selected as location, from the Youtube Settings.
It still works for me.

Mind retesting this using a fresh profile?

Check this by VPN is wrong in any case. It's different principles with direct connection. Because, as I said before I'm from Russia used a Russian VPN to visit Youtube on Android device by app. In the app a region doesn't display.

But my goal of this report is to attract attention a difference in work of old version and actual. Where situation is in favor of old version.
