Steps to reproduce:

1 - open new tab with ctrl + t

2 - go to youtube to any live video with chat, example of the live nasa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtU_mdL2vBM

3 - press the Hide chat button


Actual results:

the chat does not close completely as other browsers do


Expected results:

the chat should be closed completely, as other browsers do

Hello hacker56756,

I attempted to reproduce the issue on Windows10 x64 with Mozilla versions (nightly - v61.0a1, beta - v60.0b15, release - v59.0.2), but I was unsuccessful. 

Please test if the issue is reproducible in safe mode, here is a link that can help you:

If this issue is still reproducing in safe mode, please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem.

thanks !, apparently youtube was the problem, but checking now yesterday changed youtube something that makes that now the chat closes correctly
