Details
Linux 2002051509 1.0RC2 branch, modern theme.
1. Open a page which is long enough. Left click on the scrollbar and keep
pressed. The scrollbar button is highlighted.
2. Click and release the right mouse button, keep the left button pressed. The
scroll button loses the highlight, but still scrolls when the mouse is moved.
Expected behaviour: The highlight should stay as long as the left mouse button
is pressed.
A minor UI inconsistency.

It's true. Tested with:

reporter (R.B.): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for
example, 1.1beta)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please
resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
I still see the bug with Mozilla 1.1b 2002080508.
Note that this happens with modern theme only, in the classic theme the
scrollbar is not highlighted when clicked upon by the mouse (i.e. it stays the
same colour).
Leaving as UNCONFIRMED.

I'm using solaris nightly 2002120522 with the modern theme. This is still
reproduceable. When the right button is clicked, the context menu pops up;
right-clicking again (outside the menu) dismisses the menu and un-highlights the
scroller. Moving the mouse continues to work the scroller though.
The problem can be reproduced with either horizontal or vertical scrollers. It
also happens with scrollers embedded in the window, such as on a multi-line
text-entry field.

I can't reproduce the original effect with current Firefox. Currently if I right-click while left button is pressed, then highlight is removed from the scrollbar, and mouse will cease to control it. This is more sound than the old case, but still different from how native windows work on my system. When I drag a native window's scrollbar and right-click, then nothing happens, scrollbar remains highlighted and I can continue to control it.
