Details
Until this week you could click on a folder in the folder pane and then type "n" to go to the first unread message (especially useful since mozilla doesn't yet return to the same position in the message list that the user was at before leaving the folder). Now the "n" seems to both cause mailnews to go to the next unread message causing it to become marked as read *and* it quickly changes the current folder in the folder pane. If you end up leaving a folder where you only view unseen messages you will not see that message when you return. The non-folder-switching behavior has been there since I started using mozilla, this change happened in the last 4-5 days. Workaround: click on the "Next" button instead of relying on the keyboard shortcut.
